Alright, a bit late but I’m going to make sure that I make at least one daily post on Fridays. Also, this is a huge topic so I’ll see what I can do.

First of all, here’s my views on beauty: I’ve never been able to tell the difference between someone who’s hot and not, apparently. My friends will say, “Dang, she’s hot!” I’ll say, “She is?” And then they’ll say, “Man, she’s not that pretty.”…. “She isn’t??” Haha apparently I’m very confused in that aspect, but I take it as a gift, of course. I can definitely compare girls (sadly) but I can’t tell a huge difference ^.^;. So yeah, that’s basically my look on it and my own experience. Of course there is always someone in the mix that is always more beautiful then the others, someone’s whose pulchritude doesn’t match anyone elses. This person is, of course, the love of your life, but enough of that.

Alright so… I wanna say that I hate fake appearances (I’m speaking for a couple of guys out there) sooooo that means I hate make up. I mean, lip gloss, maybe once in awhile for a dance or something, okay, but every single day? You’re just covering yourself up, and eventually, someone has to see your true self. Why wait it out and keep yourself in suspense? It’s a waste of time and energy.

Next, wanting to be someone else.This….. is horrible. Just to think about and live with. Live everyday hoping, thinking, wishing , but knowing that it’s impossible to become someone else? No thank you. Plus a girl that constantly wishes to be someone else? Why would the guy/girl that loves you want you to be someone else? Doesn’t that defeat the purpose.

Alright, the main event dananananananana. What is beauty? For me (and it’s a completely personal opinion) it’s definitely happiness, and I mean real happiness, not a fake smile. Seeing a girl smile and just enjoy life as it is, struggles or not? That’s freaking awesome and beautiful. Smiling through the good times? Great! You’re a happy person. Genuinely smile through the tough times? You have unbelievable strength. There’s just no way around it :) . Generally, it’s personality. The better the personality, the better the view. I used to know this girl, first glance? Ehhhh… (judgemental, I know sorry) Later, I got to know her, and everyday I got to see her and know her better, she became prettier. Haha a peculiar mind God has given me.

Final. Yes I know this sounds cliche. But listen to the world and it’s pretty much right. You be skinny, wear make up, whatever and you’ll get what you want: lust. That’s exactly what the world advertises and it knows it. Listen to God? Find the most beautiful person on this planet and become best friends with her pretty much forever. Find what you need but don’t want: love.

Ah well, I rest my case. Hope this opened a few eyes. If not I hope that you honor my effort :p.
